Potato Soup (Crockpot Style) | | potatoes | | | milk | 3-4 | Tbsp. | butter | | | potato flakes/pearls | | | cheddar cheese | | | salt & pepper to taste | | | celery salt | | | Optional: celery, carrots, onions, etc. |
1. | Peel & cube potatoes. | 2. | Place in crockpot and cover with water. | 3. | Add optional items as desired. | 4. | Sprinkle with salt. | 5. | Let cook 3 hours or until potatoes are done. | 6. | Pour off about half of the water and fill with milk. | 7. | Add butter. | 8. | Add potato flakes until desired consistency. | 9. | Stir in cheese and allow it to melt. | 10. | Season with salt, pepper, and celery salt. | (from Jen Mortensen) |
