Orange Dinner Rolls


Rhodes dinner rolls — thawed (20 for 9x13" pan)
zest from one orange
1/2c.sugar
1/4c.butter or margarine
____________
--Citrus Glaze--
1c.powdered sugar
2Tbsp.orange juice — fresh
1Tbsp.melted butter or margarine

1.Mix zest and sugar.
2.Cut thawed rolls in halves and place in pan.
3.Pour butter or margarine over rolls.
4.Sprinkle half of orange sugar mixture, reserving rest for later.
5.Cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
6.Let rise until double in size.
7.Remove wrap and sprinkle remaining zest mixture over top of rolls.
8.Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.
9.Meanwhile, mix ingredients for glaze in a small saucepan.
10.Heat and stir until powdered sugar is fully dissolved and glaze is smooth.
11.Cover warm rolls with citrus glaze.
