Synopsis: The giant, man-eating Graboids are back and even deadlier than before, terrorizing the inhabitants of a South African wildlife reserve as they attack from below-and above.

Reaction: They've begun to expand the graboid influence to allow for more varied scenes, but if you've enjoyed the series up to this point, this should satisfy just fine.

Personal Rating: 6/10

  • Michael Gross is the only actor who appears in all ["Tremors"] films.
  • Kevin Bacon had initially expressed interest in returning to the franchise but ultimately decided to pass.
  • This movie was filmed at an actual wildlife reserve in South Africa, and volunteers there helped the crew with such tasks as holding the horses still, and moving temporary lion cages to location. They even filmed at the volunteer housing.
  • Two characters stealthily avoiding an ass-blaster in a cluttered kitchen is a nod to a similar scene involving velociraptors in Jurassic Park (1993).
  • Director Don Michael Paul had never seen a ["Tremors"] movie; his first time was when Michael Gross sat him down to watch while filming.
  • [?] David A. Gregory was considered to play Travis.
  • While there are minor errors (IE calling a magazine a clip), every gun in the entire series is or was an actual gun and is referenced correctly.
