Edit cast list for:
Star Trek: Enterprise - Season 4 (2004)?
Trivia:
Beginning with episode #4.1, @#Storm Front: Part 1#@, the series is shot with digital cameras rather than on traditional film. One of the augments in episode #4.4, @#Borderland#@ is named Persis. This is a tribute to the late `~2851~` who played Lt. Ilia in !~trek_01~!~Star Trek: The Motion Picture~!. She died of a heart attack 18 August 1998. In episode #4.13, @#United#@, T'Pol tells Captain Archer there is an old Vulcan saying, "One man can summon the future". This is a nod to the original series episode #2.4, ^~trek_tos_2~^~@#Mirror, Mirror#@~^, in which the "evil universe" Spock tells Captain Kirk the Mirror-Vulcan saying "One man cannot summon the future". The two-part episode @#In a Mirror, Darkly#@ takes place within the "Mirror Universe" from the @#Mirror, Mirror#@ episode of the original ^~trek_tos_2~^~Star Trek~^. The cast play their mirror counterparts only... making this the first @##Star Trek##@ episode to not feature any regular characters. The scene from episode #4.22 where we see some interior of the Enterprise D is taken from ^~trek_tng_3~^~Star Trek: The Next Generation~^ episode #3.24 @#Menage a Troi#@. Lwaxana Troi is substituted by William T. Riker in this scene, which is why he can be seen twice. The 'Star Trek Crews' from all the @##Star Trek##@ series were ranked #2 in @##TV Guide##@'s list of the "25 Greatest Sci-Fi Legends" (@#1 August 2004 issue#@). With the exception of a brief line in episode 4.6, @#The Augments#@, the ship is never referred to as "The Enterprise", but is always referred to as "Enterprise" without the definite article. In the opening credits is a shot of the Mars Pathfinder Probe's Sojourner Rover on the Martian Surface. This is not a special effects shot: This was the first science fiction film or television series to use footage actually taken on the surface of another planet. Malcolm Reed was named for a minor character in `~6804~`'s @##Horatio Hornblower##@ books. Both characters were English and came from families that had generations of career Navy men, although Malcolm Reed in @##Enterprise##@ was the first to join Starfleet. T'Pol held the rank of Subcommander. This rank is traditionally associated with the Romulans; however, since the Romulans and Vulcans were originally one race, it would not be improbable for them to have similar terminology or military structures.
