Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016)?
Trivia:
`~16133~` compared his role of Casey Jones to his role as Oliver Queen in @##Arrow##@: "Casey Jones is almost a little bit more like the Oliver Queen that people know from the older comic books." The producers tried to get cameo roles from !~tmnt_1~!~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles~! actors `~7254~` (the first cinematic Casey Jones) and `~5950~` (a Foot Clan member). However, both declined to appear. A car bears the license plate "Mirage84". The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first appeared in Mirage Comics in 1984. `~C.M. Punk~` and `~Billy Beyrer~` were considered, and auditioned for the role of Rocksteady. `~2684~`, who voices Krang in this film, is best friends with `~Pat Fraley~`, who voiced Krang in the @##Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles##@ series. Fraley personally endorsed Garrett as Krang when he was announced. `~7070~` is a self-proclaimed "fangirl" of Karai. She auditioned for the role code-named "Female Soldier", correctly predicting it would be Karai. `~8652~`, does not return as the voice of Leonardo. `~14143~` takes over the role., providing both motion capture and voice. When Casey Jones is smashing up the bar, "Ice Ice Baby" by `~11704~` is heard on the jukebox. `~11704~` appeared and performed "Ninja Rap" in !~tmnt_2~!~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze~!. Splinter is designed to have grayer fur and a brown robe in this film, in a homage to appearance in !~tmnt_1~!~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles~! and the 2003 @##Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles##@ series. Director `~16132~` has been a huge TMNT fan from childhood; he used to dress up as Donatello. `~16134~` (Rocksteady) is the second wrestler to work on a TMNT film, after `~11703~` (the Super Shredder in !~tmnt_2~!~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze~!). `~1524~`, who played April O'Neil in !~tmnt_1~!~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles~!, had shot a cameo appearance for the film, but it was cut out of the theatrical film. `~16681~` was originally meant to voice Krang, but he dropped out due to schedule conflicts and was replaced with `~2684~`. SPOILER:Michelangelo is the first Turtle to see clearly the face of Krang during their climactic encounter. This is a tribute to the @##Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles##@ series where Michelangelo was the first of the four brothers to see Krang in person.:SPOILER Director `~16132~` has described this film as "about John, Paul, Ringo and George", whereas the first film "introduced `~the Beatles~`". Several bits of dialogue contain titles of `~the Beatles~`' songs.
