`~John Doe~`
Edit cast list for:
Paycheck (2003)?
Trivia:
`~1511~`'s character was supposed to be a New York Mets fan (or Yankees - sources differ), but Affleck, a Boston Red Sox fan, persuaded director `~8841~` to change the team to the Red Sox. `~2396~` was originally considered for the part of Michael Jennings, but turned it down because it was too similar to !~bourne_1~!~The Bourne Identity~!. Director Trademark: [`~8841~`] [Mexican Stand-off] Twice between Jennings and Wolfe and Jennings and Rethrick. This movie is based on the short story by `~8747~`. Director Trademark: [`~8841~`] [doves] SPOILER:Thought up as a joke by a visual effects engineer (so says the "making of" included on DVD), some scenes make hints that the machine may be a sophisticated hand-lines reader. Before Michael goes to Allcom for his job, he's getting inspiration from a ceramic hand sculpture, showing the lines. When, at the end of the film, he uses the machine, there is a close shot of interaction between the machine and his hand-lines.:SPOILER In the original story (@#Paycheck#@ by `~8747~`) Jennings sends to himself very different items and there were only 7 of them. They were: "A code key. A ticket stub. A parcel receipt. A length of fine wire. Half a poker chip, broken across. A green strip of cloth. A bus token." The 20 items that Jennings sent to himself are: sunglasses, pack of cigarettes, bus pass, diamond ring, paperclip, fortune from a cookie, janitor's key, lighter, hairspray, matchbook, Allcom pass, BMW key, looking glass, stamp, ball bearings, allen wrench, half dollar, cross word puzzle, bullet, and a watch.
