`~John Doe~`
Edit cast list for:
Emma. (2020)?
Trivia:
The film's title unconventionally has a period at the end. The director has stated in multiple interviews it is to signify the movie as a "period piece" set in the original era. Neither Emma nor Mr. Knightley are wearing gloves during their dance together while all the other characters dancing are gloved. Director `~18471~` has said that she wanted them to have bare hands. She cleared it with the film's etiquette expert and was allowed to do that because the characters had just eaten dinner where they would have removed their gloves. It added to the sexual tension between Emma and Mr. Knightley during that last dance. All of the music performances in the film are real, played by the actors in character. None are staged. SPOILER:When Mr. Knightley asks Emma to marry him, Emma gets a nosebleed. Director `~18471~` often gets nosebleeds herself and spoke to screenwriter `~18472~` about including one in the script. There was originally a comedic scene of Harriet getting a nosebleed while trying to figure out a charade, and Mr Woodehouse having to be rushed out of the room so as not be exposed to the sight of blood. The nosebleed was later moved to the proposal scene. Coincidentally, actress `~17679~` also gets nosebleeds and was able to get one on cue while filming. She described this as a favorite moment of the entire shoot and a "proud" moment for her.:SPOILER `~9998~` who plays Mrs Reynolds (one of Mr Knightley's servants) played Mary Bennet in the 1995 adaptation `~9994~`'s !~p_n_p~!~Pride and Prejudice (1995)~!. Feature film directorial debut by `~18471~`.
