Edit cast list for:
Puss in Boots (2011)?
Trivia:
One of the women of San Ricardo describes Puss' boots as being made of soft, Corinthian leather. This is a reference to the Chrysler Cordoba commercial of 1975, wherein `~1839~` described the seats as being made of "rich Corinthian leather." Montalban costarred with `~4916~` and `~11342~` in !~spykids_3~!~Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003)~!. This was the fifth pairing of `~4916~` and `~11342~`. The bar scene in the beginning is a direct resemblance of the bar scene in @%Desperado (1995)%@, another movie that starred both `~4916~` (Puss) and `~11342~` (Kitty). Unlike the Shrek films, which were in production for only 3 years (except for the first which was in production for 4 1/2-5 years), !~bopussots~!~Puss in Boots (2011)~! was in production for 7 1/2 years. This film entered development in 2004 just after the release of !~shrek_2~!~Shrek 2 (2004)~!. The animators did not need to bring in any real cats to the studio to study their movements; they simply looked at any of the millions of cat videos on YouTube. A conscious decision was made to make the world of !~bopussots~!~Puss in Boots (2011)~! very different from that depicted in the ^~shrek_1~^~"Shrek"~^ films. In the latter, the backgrounds and stylizations are very fairy tale. Here, it has a distinctly Spanish feel with warmer, more orange colors. Puss is actually a little bit shorter in this film, as he is not standing alongside the 7-foot Shrek.
