Trivia:
`~2807~` (Lydia Bennet) is actually a year older than `~9995~`, even though she plays her younger sister by five years. `~768~` was pregnant during filming, but was able to continue due to the cut of the costumes and some cleverly placed shawls. Someone had waxed the floor the night before filming the scene at Lucas Lodge where Lydia and Kitty start an impromptu dance, making it too slippery (and therefore dangerous) to dance on. After the crew tried a number of different chemicals to try and remove the wax, someone had the brilliant idea of pouring Coca Cola all over it. According to the DVD extras, `~9996~` initially declined the role of Mr. Darcy. `~6635~` (Miss Bingley) is actually related to `~9994~`. Chancellor is a direct descendant of Austen's elder brother, Edward. `~Helen Fielding~`, author of @%`~9255~`'s Diary%@ had both the character of Mr. Darcy from this production and the actor `~9996~` in mind when she created the character Mark Darcy in "`~9255~`." `~9996~` played Mark Darcy in the "`~9255~`'s Diary" movie. `~2668~` (Mr. Bingley) originally auditioned for the part of George Wickham while `~10010~` (Maria Lucas) originally auditioned for the part of Lydia Bennet. `~768~`, who plays Jane, is the daughter of `~Polly Adams~`, who played Jane in the 1967 BBC production of @%Pride and Prejudice%@. `~10006~` (Mrs. Gardiner) and `~10011~` (Georgianna Darcy) are real life mother and daughter. The grand estate of Pemberley doesn't actually exist. The exteriors of the house belong to Lyme Park and the interiors belong to Sudbury Hall.
