Synopsis:
Ocean's team is challenged by a rival thief for the title of "greatest thief".
Reaction:
In the end, this movie ends up being less satisfying. It's basically a "just kidding" heist movie.

`~John Doe~`
/
Trivia:
The soundtrack includes @#Requiem for a No Good F******g Limey#@, written and performed by `~9601~` and @#Souls Along the Way#@, written by `~16761~` (as Orrin Hatch) and `~Madeline Stone~`, performed by `~Felicia Sorensen~`. The cell phone that `~9596~`'s character uses in the film (and which is stolen by `~9621~`) is a Siemens S65. SPOILER:The transportation of the Fabergé Egg is analogous to the real world transport of the Cullinan Diamond in 1905. At 3106 uncut carats, transporting it safely from South Africa to England posed a bit of a problem with regards to security. Detectives from London were placed upon a steamer ship that was rumored to carry the stone, but this was a diversionary tactic. The stone on that ship was a fake, meant to attract those who would be interested in stealing it. The actual diamond was sent to England in a plain box via parcel post.:SPOILER When Linus finally speaks to the gibberish-tooting Matsui, the words he speaks are from the `~Led Zeppelin~` song @#Kashmir#@, as Rusty is quick to point out when they step outside. ("Kashmir?") Rusty's phone ring tone is the title song from @%Pretty in Pink%@. The necklace that `~9596~` wears in the movie is a replica of his wedding ring that he wore while married to `~7456~`. SPOILER:Because `~4602~`' character Tess pretends to be `~4602~` during @%Ocean's Twelve%@, the movie contains several subtle references to her previous movies. These include: the appearance of `~1509~`, who recognizes `~4602~` because they costarred in the fake movie within a movie in @%The Player%@; Linus mistakenly thinking that the real `~4602~` had been in @%Four Weddings and a Funeral%@, when she was actually in @%Notting Hill%@, another `~Richard Curtis~` movie in which she played a `~4602~`-like actress (much as she does here); and Tess being incarcerated with prostitutes, a reference to @%Pretty Woman%@.:SPOILER `~6038~` filmed a cameo as Bobby Caldwell, Linus's father, but it didn't make the final cut. `~9592~` insisted that this film be made on the same budget as the original !~ocean_11~!~Ocean's Eleven~!. `~1509~`, who appears as himself in the film, was originally signed to play Danny Ocean in !~ocean_11~!~Ocean's Eleven~!, but pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. While on production in Rome, `~9596~` and `~1682~` were not allowed back into the hotel because the doorman thought they were vagrants after the actors were caught in a rain storm while jogging. `~1186~`, playing himself in an uncredited role, says, "I totally phoned in that `~4979~` movie." The movie he is referring to is @%In Good Company%@, which was one of the trailers before this film in many movie theaters.
