Trivia:
The two technicians who first discover the incoming meteor call the control center and issue a "Code Nimoy" alert, an homage to `~2818~` as Mr. Spock. After Susan saves B.O.B., Link, and Dr. Cockroach from being crushed on Gallaxhar's ship, Dr. Cockroach says "By Hawking's chair." This is a reference to `~3924~`, renown academic who is bound to a motorized wheelchair due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig's disease or ALS. While the President bears a slight resemblance to `~8906~`, the character's look had been finalized some time before Colbert had even been cast for the part. When the government agents arrive at the church to investigate the crash site when the camera pans to the back of their van when the door closes you can see a camera crew visible in the reflection of the door. Wilhelm scream: During the fight with the "Gallaxhar" clones. The scream was originally done in the 1950s by `~6792~`, who sings "Flying Purple People Eater," (1958) used in the closing credits.
