Synopsis:
The Dark Knight's first movie is a very stylized story that tells the origins of the conflicted hero as well as the creation of his quintessential nemesis: the Joker.
Reaction:
This is a great first movie for the Caped Crusader and very much encapsulates much of the stylistic charm of the Batman series.

Trivia:
SPOILER:In the film Jack Napier aka The Joker is the murderer of Batman's parents. In the comics the murderer is a character named Joe Chill.:SPOILER The producers wanted `~945~` to write the score, but he had to turn it down due to his commitment to !~indy_3~!~Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade~!. `~1743~` (the star of the TV series "Batman") wanted to play Batman, but `~1667~` was given the role after getting the nod from `~1666~`, the creator of the original Batman comic strip. `~1669~` is only a few inches shorter than `~1667~`. To make Keaton appear taller, she wears flat heels or is in stocking feet in all the scenes in which they are standing next to each other. The Batman costume weighed 70 lbs. `~1426~` was an original choice to play the Joker. It only took 12 weeks to shoot. `~2077~`, `~6899~`, `~5989~`, `~4832~` and `~10110~` were considered for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. `~1667~` worked out for two months to prepare for the role, and learned kickboxing from his stunt double, `~David Lea~`. Keaton performed most of the fights himself, and one of the few scenes in which Lea stood in for him is during the fight in the alley with the swordsman.
