1. | Mix flour and salt together. |
2. | Take out 1/3 C. of the mixture and mix with cold water to make a paste. |
3. | Cut shortening into dry flour mix with pastry blender or knives. |
4. | Add paste mixture and mix well with fork. |
5. | Divide into 2 or 3 balls and roll out for pies. |
6. | Bake:- Single crust - 10 min. @ 450°
- Double crust/fruit pie - 35 min. @ 425°
