Pie Crust


2c.Flour
1/2tsp.Salt
1/4c.Cold Water
1c.Shortening

1.Mix flour and salt together.
2.Take out 1/3 C. of the mixture and mix with cold water to make a paste.
3.Cut shortening into dry flour mix with pastry blender or knives.
4.Add paste mixture and mix well with fork.
5.Divide into 2 or 3 balls and roll out for pies.
6.Bake:
  • Single crust - 10 min. @ 450°
  • Double crust/fruit pie - 35 min. @ 425°

Or you can microwave in a glass pan - 10-12 min. on high.
