Gorgonzola Bruschetta


12slice(s)baguette-style french bread — cut 1/2 inch thick
3Tbsp.unsalted butter — softened
1/2c.gorgonzola crumbles
1tsp.green onion — finely chopped
1/2c.roma tomatoes — chopped
1Tbsp.parsley — finely chopped

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
3.Spread one side of bread slices with 2 tbsp butter.
4.Place onto lined baking sheet buttered side up.
5.Bake for 8 minutes or until edges are slightly browned then cool slightly.
6.In small bowl combine 1 tbsp butter, gorgonzola, and green onion and mix well.
7.Turn cooled bread over (buttered side down) and spread with cheese mixture.
8.Sprinkle with tomatoes and bake for 6 minutes or until cheese is slightly melted.
9.Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
