1. | Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. |
2. | Drain and dice pears. |
3. | Combine with bran and milk. |
4. | Let stand 5 minutes. |
5. | Add oil and egg to pear mixture. |
6. | Add dry ingredients. |
7. | Stir only until ingredients are moistened. |
8. | Fill 12 greased muffin cups 3/4 full. |
9. | Bake at 400 for 18 - 20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. |
