Taco Salad1 | lb. | hamburger | 1 | can(s) | kidney beans | | | chili powder | | | salt | 1 | | head lettuce | 1 | | tomato — diced | 1/2 | bottle(s) | zesty Italian salad dressing — fat-free is great | 1 - 1 1/2 | c. | cheddar cheese — grated | | | corn tortilla chips | | | sour cream |
1. | Brown hamburger, then add beans, chili powder and salt (until it tastes and looks good!) | 2. | In large bowl, break up a clean head of lettuce. | 3. | Stir in cheese & tomato. | 4. | When you are about to serve, add crushed tortilla chips and salad dressing. | 5. | Right before eating, stir in the hot meat mixture. | 6. | Serve with sour cream. | (from Ashley Ross) |
