Synopsis: An ancient artifact sends the turtles to feudal Japan.

Reaction: This one doesn't have the same kind of charm and the fact that the Jim Henson team didn't do the animatronics on this one doesn't bode well for it.

Random Trivia For This Title:

  • The only live-action [Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles] movie that doesn't have the Jim Henson's Creature Shop involved with the creature costumes. This explains why the Turtles' and Splinter's appearances in this film are different from the previous two movies.
  • At one point in the movie, one of the turtles refer to Walker (Stuart Wilson) as the "Zorro dude". Wilson later starred in The Mask of Zorro as Don Rafael Montero.
  • Mark Caso (The performer inside the Leonardo costume), is the only cast to return from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Brian Tochi (The voice of Leonardo) and Robbie Rist (The voice of Michaelangelo) are the only actors who appeared in all three live-action [Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles] movies. Corey Feldman who appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles makes his return as the voice of Donatello.
