Synopsis: Newly elected President Lincoln gains strength from his family. His great cause-the American Union-is split asunder by civil war. With complete dedication to his cause, he leads his nation through its darkest hour, finding strength and solace where he can.

Reaction: A shortened version of the complex issues Lincoln had to go through, but it doesn't excessively over-simplify it for kids.

Personal Rating: 7/10
