Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.

—Richard L. Evans

Synopsis: After completing his invention of the phonograph, Edison sets his sights on the electric light. He boasts and brags but without any real idea how it can be done. Hard work and creative thinking ensue. And a lot of ridicule.

Reaction: A good, simple illustration of the man who gave such a crucial invention to the world.

Personal Rating: 7/10
