Synopsis:
This is the second print collection of Schlock Mercenary, and it is chock-full of new footnotes and sketches, plus 8 pages of never-before-seen bonus story explaining how Schlock got rich escaping from the circus. This 100 page, full-color collection can stand alone, but makes an ideal companion volume to Under New Management.
Reaction:
Fun stuff. Howard keeps chugging along like a creative, funny, slightly manic and crazy train engine that makes scifi comics and jokes about not wearing pants and I guess that's a pretty odd comparison but I kind of had to commit to the bit and I guess I could probably stop typing at this point but I'm not sure what else I should say about it aaaaannndddd ... Yeah, that's it.
Trivia:
This one has a personalized illustration of General Xinchub in the back of the book by Howard Tayler.
Contains strips spanning August 24 2003 through March 14 2004.
The introduction to this book was written by Laurell K. Hamilton.
Ends with an unnamed bonus story about how Schlock's circus got attacked by pirates.
